Comments
This snake packs some venom.
Pitch black. A finger or so of a tan head, that dissipates to about a quarter finger of a thin, creamy looking foam.
Lots of dark malt aromas - dark fruit, coffee, and a fruity alcohol. The flavors aren't quite as imposing as the aromas led on, but the roasted and bitter malt flavors are quite strong. The alcohol is noticeable, especially in the finish, but not overly aggressive for an 11% ABV.
If you like the Imperial Stout style, add the West Sixth Snake Eye to your list!
