Description:
Pabst Blue Ribbon is a premium lager crafted with a hefty infusion of 6-row barley, a carefully balanced carbohydrate profile from corn syrup, and a unique combination of Pacific domestic hops blended with an imported Yugoslavian variety. Fermented with a pure culture of yeast and aged at high gravity, PBR is cellared and finished to the smooth, robust likeness of a fine Pilsner. (Description courtesy of manufacturer)

Comments
PBR
PBR pours a clear golden yellow, with a half finger of a foamy head. Head dissipates quickly and leaves trace lacing.
Nose is primarily malt with some corn and grain aromas. Pretty subdued overall. Taste is similar - with a corn sweetness from the malt and only a tiny amount of hop bitterness to compensate for it.
Light, almost watery body, no aftertaste to speak of, and above average carbonation. A pretty typical adjunct lager - not bad, maybe a little better than your typical Bud or Michelob, but not exceptional.
