Salty Nut collaborates with Wild Bean Coffee Company to brew a new version of their Darkeness Stout for fall release.
A specialty one off beer for our Vertical House Party. A black ale with the feel of an ipa and the roast of dark malts. Dry hopped with Amarillo and Cascade. (Description provided by company)
We took a stout and made it stouter, with an ABV of 11% to prove it. Very malty profile with tones of dark roasted malt and a solid mouthfeel from flaked grains. An addition of local molasses gives a nice sweet characteristic, but it finishes dry. Trust us, you won't believe it's really 11%.
This is an easy-drinking American blonde ale (4.7% ABV), with a hint of herbal/noble hop character. (Description provided by company)
Skip the milk and cookies this year and give Santa one of these instead.
This brew is exciting!
This is a brew for the masses. And I say this with confidence.
A brew that is not your typical porter (and that's how we like it). With a subtle chocolatey taste, with a roasted coffee bite (that doesn't hurt).
Sweet Potato Ale...our version of a Pumpkin Ale.
We are Southerners, and what Southerner doesn't like sweet potatoes?
Sweet potatoes are baked till they begin to caramelize and are added directly to the mash.
This is a big beer!...with 122 IBU's and weighing in at 9.4%.
Falconer's Flight, Falconer's 7C's, Zythos are added to the boil for bitterness and aroma.
It is then finished off with Sorachi Ace, a lemon profile hop from Japan, that brings it all together.
